Nature and Health Symposium Access Instructions

Registered attendees can access all 5 Symposium webinar live events and webinar recordings until the end of July 2020. All recorded material and additional resources will be made available on the symposium event pages listed here: https://symposium.outdoorhealthcare.org.au/schedule/

When you registered, you would have been sent a password with which you can access each webinar page. If you have lost this password, please email symposium@outdoorhealthcare.org.au.

Detailed instructions for joining the live webinars

Each live webinar will be run via a Microsoft Teams Live Event which can be accessed via either aweb browser (no account required) OR the Microsoft Teams App (free account required) on your computer, phone or tablet. The App is required for phones and tablets.

Prior to each live webinar we will email you a direct join link. This link can also be found on each webinar page here.

Which scenario best suits you?

I will access the webinar via my computer.

You can join via a web browser OR using the Microsoft Teams App (scroll down).

I will join the webinar via a smart phone or tablet.

You will need to download the Microsoft Teams App (scroll down).

Join via a web browser

1. Go to the email you received prior to the webinar OR to the https://symposium.outdoorhealthcare.org.au/schedule/ and navigate to the webinar you want to join.

2. In either case click on the ‘join webinar‘ link.

3. You will be taken to a page like this in your default web browswer. We recommend Google Chrome or Firefox browsers but most work.

4. Click on the ‘watch on the web instead’ button.

5. You can then choose to ‘sign in’ if you have a teams account or want to create one OR join anonymously as a guest by clicking the shaded link below the sign in link.

6. You will join the webinar. If you are really early you might get this screen.

7. Approximately 15 minutes before the webinar, we will go live and you will see a holding screen with the webinar name and a nicer picture. Feel free to familiarise yourself with the Q&A comment section.

Joining via the Microsoft Teams App

1. Go to the email you received prior to the webinar OR to the https://symposium.outdoorhealthcare.org.au/schedule/ and navigate to the webinar you want to join.

2. In either case click on the ‘join webinar‘ link.

3. If you are joining on a smartphone or tablet and you already have teams installed the link will take you directly to the webinar in the App. It may show this message and ask if you would like to join as a guest. Click ‘join as guest’
